Refund Policy
We want you to actually use what you pay for. If Stash isn't working for you, we'll refund — within reasonable limits laid out below.
30-day free trial
You don't pay anything for the first 30 days. No card on file at signup. If you decide Stash isn't for you during the trial, just don't pick a paid plan — your mailboxes auto-suspend after the trial ends and we delete the data 60 days later. Nothing to refund.
Within 14 days of payment
If you take a paid plan and decide within 14 days that it isn't working — for any reason — email hello@gostash.app and we'll refund the full amount you paid. We'll ask one question ("what went wrong?") so we can fix it for the next customer, but we won't argue.
After 14 days
After day 14 of a paid plan, we don't issue partial refunds for the remaining months. You can still cancel anytime — the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current annual period, and you keep using the service until then. We just don't pro-rate.
Exception: if Stash has a substantial outage (multi-day downtime, data loss, etc.) that breaches the spirit of these terms, write to us — we'll figure out something fair (service credit, partial refund, or full refund) on a case-by-case basis.
How refunds are issued
Razorpay processes the refund back to the original payment method (card, UPI, bank). Refunds typically reach your account in 5–7 business days. We'll send you a confirmation email once we initiate the refund.
Add-ons and one-off services
Migration calls and one-off setup help are non-refundable once performed (the work is done). If you've paid for one and we haven't delivered it yet, you can cancel and get the money back — same 14-day window.
Chargebacks
Please email us before initiating a chargeback. Almost every refund request can be handled directly, faster, with less paperwork. Chargebacks cost both sides money and slow everything down.
