Terms of Service

Stash is an email hosting service for custom domains. We run a Mailcow server in Germany and let you create mailboxes, aliases, and forwarders on domains you own. Service includes the portal, webmail, IMAP/SMTP/POP3 access, daily backups, and same-day support during IST business hours.

Don't use Stash to send spam, phishing, scam mail, or anything illegal under Indian law. Don't run bulk-marketing campaigns from our IPs — we're a transactional + personal email host, not a newsletter platform. Don't try to break into other customers' mailboxes or the server itself.

If we detect outbound abuse from your mailbox (high volumes, blocklisted recipients, spam complaints), we'll suspend outbound sending and email you. Repeat or egregious abuse means termination.

Plans are annual prepay, billed via Razorpay in INR. After the 30-day free trial, your subscription auto-renews each year unless you cancel. We'll email you 14 days before each renewal. You can cancel anytime from the billing page — the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, not immediately.

Prices listed at signup are what you pay at renewal. We won't raise the price on you without 30 days' notice and an option to leave.

If a renewal charge fails (card expired, mandate paused), we'll retry for 7 days. After that, outbound sending is suspended and we'll notify you. Mailboxes stay readable for 30 more days so you can export. Then we delete.

We aim for 99.9% uptime but don't offer a formal SLA at this price point. We monitor the server 24/7 and have on-call alerts; in practice the service has been stable. If you need a formal contractual SLA, talk to us about the Enterprise plan.

You own your email. We host it. See our privacy policy for details on how we handle it. You can export your mailboxes (standard IMAP, any mail client) at any time. We don't lock you in.

Our liability for any claim arising out of this agreement is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost business, lost opportunity, etc.). This is a small, focused email-hosting product; if you need enterprise indemnities, you need an enterprise email host.

You can leave anytime — cancel in the portal or email us. We can terminate your account for repeated abuse, illegal use, or non-payment, with notice in writing. If we terminate for any other reason (e.g. we shut down the business), we'll give you 60 days' notice and pro-rate any prepaid fees back.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that we can't resolve in good-faith email goes to the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

We'll email registered customers when terms change materially. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms; if you don't, cancel before the change takes effect and we'll refund any unused portion of your subscription.
